Operations Review and Improvement
An overall “diagnostic” review of operations performance to assess performance vis-a-vis “best practices”, to identify opportunities for improvement or simply to provide a “health check” for the organisation to ensure that standards of operation are being met. Specific areas of focus can include benchmarking, quick response, production management, maintenance management etc. and make use of computerised operations modelling and optimisation techniques.

Cost Reduction Reviews
Similar in nature to our operations review approach, except that the focus is on cost reduction. Through the Adamant WEBTRAIN facility opportunities exist to develop on-line, self paced training programs for Technicians and Mechanics on each specific type of machine in your machine park. The benefits of this type of training are enormous particularly with the ability to track times spent of each topic / module and competency assessments. Everyone regardless of time is trained using the same materials & information and is not filtered nor corrupted by poor practices etc.

As well as technical training, we can also include in the package sessions on mechanics taking ownership and responsibility for their machine sets, efficiencies and maintenance.

As previously stated Our Distinctive Competence is our ability to provide client organisations with Strategic advice on Operational issues and then work with their people to achieve successful implementation of the strategies at the operational level.

To this end we believe two-way communication is essential for the success of any working relationship. With all of our consultancy projects, regular reports to senior management will ensure that the needs of the organisation are being met. Regular meetings with resultant Action Plans are used to record specific tasks, responsibilities for carrying out those tasks, with agreed completion dates for those involved in the project.

Timetables are generally based on the needs and goals of the organisation, which are established at the commencement of a project and agreed to by all parties. Tight time frames are often the norm.

Where possible we prefer to act as Facilitators to a project team as this enhances the learning process, raises the level of commitment to the project and is more cost effective for you, the Client.
